Currently have 100/10 Mbps with Cox and am looking to get out. Service has been down for 12 days as a result of the flood, which I can get over, but they are giving absolutely no information regarding the reason or duration of the outage. Regardless, does anyone know of something apart from Cox and AT&T Uverse in Walker? Uverse isn't available in my neighborhood, not really sure why...

Have you rebooted router? My Internet has been back on for a week.

I had to unplug my modem for about 30 minutes before it came back after the flood. Just powering it down for a few seconds did not work.

Cox was NOT helpful at all with updates, and wish I had another choice besides AT&T which is even worse.

Did your aid have to maneuver the mouse for you to quote that so many times or do you manage some basic motor function despite your condition?

I believe the options in Walker are Cox, an ATT DSL connection, or satellite internet. By far the fastest is going to be Cox.

Depending on neighborhood. In my neighborhood apparently Cox has a right to the lines for X number of years since they installed it. ATT isn't even an option as a result.
