It's the one red variety that I just don't like.
However, there are some nice petitie sirah's being made in California right now. Bogle has already been mentioned in the lower price range. Blair Fox in the Santa Barbara area makes a great petite sirah, as do Turley, Carlisle, and Ridge. Of course those are prcier than Bogle. If you haven't tries one lately, give one a try. You might be surprised.

Thanks for the recommendations. I'm fine with a lot of blends that include petite sirah, so I will try to branch out some more.
