Just for the record, I'm not continuing the argument with you because this goes beyond the question of the op. This is a generational view on business. You aren't going to agree with me and I'm not going to agree with you. That's why I asked how old you were. I typically encounter people with your views from the over 40 crowd. I'm willing to bet you're closer to 50 than 40 too.

One's generation really has nothing to do with how a business incurs costs and what a business can afford.

Not all young people are clueless about those things so it's sort of insulting to them that you want to paint them all with your ignorance.

I'm guessing it's never crossed your mind that the difference you have with them is driven by knowledge and experience more than their age, has it?

Not all young people have this problem. I have plenty of quite sharp young people.

That said, your problem IS pretty common among those your age.

More the better for your young and better educated counterparts.
