that's not an assassin bug in your pics, but a leaf footed/legged bug. I only know because the bastards, aka squash bugs, give me hell every summer on my tomatoes. the nymphs are very, very similar, but since I can't see a proboscis and they are in a pack, I'm pretty sure they're leaf legged.
