Alligator bayou road needs to hold off the water for how much longer?

Probably a while. The gauge at manchac and bluff swamp is still rising a half an inch an hour.

At 11.10 feet as of now

Till the water stop overtopping it for sure. The guys at the back of Ridge say it's starting to rise fast again. Not looking good. A true breach would be terrible. It's holding at least 10-15 foot of water back.

I guess my fate rests with that road. If that water is what is filling up ridge & it gives out, we might be up shite creek. Literally.
