Many people forgot to turn off their ACs before leaving and returning to find fried circuit boards and seized up compressor as the water flooded about 6"

You realize that they both enter the amite right? their entrance to the amite is only like 2 miles apart. It doesn't matter that it is in Manchac
If ward's creek is still rising, it is likely from some other reason than backflow or its the tail end of backflow given what is happening in claycut.
