This game should be entirely in third person

You have to confront Richard on the podium first and have him see the error of his ways.

you and I have similar opinions on a lot of games and movies.

if you say a movie or tv show or game is garbage, I wont even bother with it.

so when you say something is good, I generally listen.

With so many abortions out there, we have to have a high standard for what takes up our limited free time. Garbage needs to be ridiculed appropriately

when jeff said that it made a lot of sense. slight difference being I've got a little more free time than most so I can probably take more chances on games than most.

anyway I started MD last night and got to the part where you first encounter bad guys with the option to go through a tutorial. just getting there I can see how the level designs are great and have hidden areas you have to look for, kinda like a souls game. can see why you'd like it in that regard. any tips for a first time deus ex player?

I've got human revolution downloaded on my xbone backward compatible I need to play at some point. passed up watching the the 12 min intro video because I didn't want anything ruined before I play it. will not knowing what happened in the first one make a difference in this game?

MD can be enjoyed without knowing the events of HR. But HR is a really good game that is just as good as MD imo.

I feel like HR was tougher.

As for MD tips,
Learn the hacking minigame
Smart vision makes sneaking around easy. It shows every air duct, locked door, structural weakness.
Cloaking is also very strong

Hacking and smart vision will get you everywhere. That's if you want to play a stealth ghost.

If you want to go in guns blazing and grenade and shoot everyone, invest in combat augs. Such as dermal skin, typhoon, and use crafting parts on your guns for upgradres.

Watch your energy consumption though. The blue bar in the bottom left.

You will get plenty of enjoyment out of it. It'll be fun to play HR because it will be like a prequel and will show you why the world is how it is. Run through it and play HR after. I'm thoroughly convinced you will enjoy it

The detail in Golem City is incredible.

Found an apartment of a guy who performed a murder/suicide on his pregnant wife.

The entire tower is really depressing. Job well done here.

the detail everywhere is amazing. I find myself getting lost aimlessly exploring and forget there are missions to do. then I remember the interesting mission I'm supposed to be doing and go back to it. it's either that or I realize I need to unlock more skills so I can adequately explore so I go do missions to unlock more exploring skills.

the game's sucked me in and I'm loving it

after playing most of the weekend and getting toward the end, my final decision is this game is spectacular and everything I hoped for.

on a side quest regarding a point of interest in prague, a murder investigation. for some reason these a-hole cops turn suspicious and searching anytime they see me on the street

having to sneak through the entire southern Prague map just to get to the metro and gtfo. might be because I said some mean shite to a politician.

been using the non-lethal typhon, tesla charge, and peps. very fun

scaling up the golem city tower to get to talos rucker is when the game went from good to great, for me

The Rucker mission was amazing. I'm just trying to do all the side missions possible before advancing story.

Got Rucker to side with me on the first try. Using hack/stealth is so fun in the game.

Also investigating Miller as much as possible for now. Not too crazy about this Janus frick though.

yeah. trying to go stealth makes this shite so much more tense .

advancing all side missions asap is definitely the way to go

sneaking into the middle of a group of people, or baiting them to a chokepoint, then standing up and using Typhoon is hilarious.

level design is spectacular and gameplay is smooth and rewarding. everything about the game is top notch

I saw that post. Crazy stuff.

I did two playthroughs. Incredible game.

On my lethal ng+ playthru I user the revolver, sniper rifle, combat rifle and shotgun. Then explosive nanoblades and frags. Killed every cop in Prague.

Also I want to add the ending was BS and the game is incomplete imo.

I read a lot into the lore and Janus' identity is pretty cool.
