This might be true, but I think there's nothing wrong with being self-aware and honest. I also think it's possible to consider yourself a person of character and integrity, but still acknowledge you have flaws.

In fact, I'd say that acknowledging your flaws is essential to having character.

I think what I was trying to express to the OP is that he could have presented the subject line a little differently.
