and then immediately regret it? Have they not learned from Saban, Spurrier, Petrino, etc?

who will do this next?

P.S. I can't believe I watched Petrino "coach" last night and tonight he called the pigs with the hillbillies. Not even 24 hours ago.

Unreal.

Pete Carroll is going back. He is not going to stay around for the probation.

I guess an Alabama fan would be qualified to talk about probation.

Wrong question. Who will be the next idiot owner to offer a job to a college head coach?

I think it will be hard to top Al Davis making a college co-offensive coordinator his HC.

anything can happen but I think Meyer is in for the long haul. I wouldnt look for him to leave anytime soon. Notre Dame would be the one place he could possibly go but he already turned them down to take the Florida job.

Who will be the next idiot owner or GM to decide, despite all the evidence to the contrary (Saban, Holtz, Spurrier, Petrino, Davis, Carroll), that success in college coaching translates to anything but failure in the NFL?
