The disparity between Brennan's 247 ranking and his composite is crazy lol

Screw all the rankings....

LSU is getting 2 good quarterbacks.

Ratings mean nothing.

Once the other major sites do their re-evaluations his composite score will move up. Both Narcisse and brennan have an entire season to play and plenty of movement both up and down could happen for either. It looks great right now, but the inevitable thought that one of them feels devalued by the staff is coming and hopefully they will hold strong. Its not too long ago that we had the #5 dual threat in Anthony Jennings and #5 pro style in Hayden Rettig both commit and stick with it, and a year later the #3 dual threat guy in Harris beat them both out. Now Jennings is in Laffy, Rettig was gone before he ever saw the field in BR, and those lofty rankings for both we all clung to in the wake of Mett moving on turned to squat.... Heres another for you in non tiger fashion... Jeff Driskel the #1 dual threat and Jacoby Brisset the #3 dual threat in the same class, Driskel wins the job, Brisset transfers, dissapears.....and Driskel is the worst top ranked QB in recent memory......more times than not it seems two highly ranked guys in the same class both end up not being what the majority thought. Now having a top ranked guy replace an outgoing guy who they sit behind maybe a year, I reference the E.J. Manuel to Jameis Winston sitch, seems to work very well. Many more examples and all yield great seasons...Darron Thomas, Jeremiah Masoli, Marcus Mariota... Pat white, geno Smith....Tahj Boyd, Deshaun Watson....Greg McElroy, A.J. McCarron. ....Aaron Murray, Hudson Mason.....we cannot all be Ohio state and luck in a team player like Braxton Miller start, win , get passed up by injury, see barret start, win, same deal, passed up, and all stayed....that's insane in today's football. Having a guy know hes the guy is not a bad thing. Sure I like competition as much as anyone..without it some players never emerge and some get the keys to a car they can't handle. But like with Mett here, he knew he was it. No looking over his shoulder. And we end up having two of the best offensive years in recent memory...Bet Harris this year benefits from now really knowing its his show, no former starter behind him he has to worry about any little mistake over. It will make him confidently take risks and succeed more often than before when hed of been unsure about his decision, and even a thousandth of a seconds hesitation is the difference between a score or a pick. I hope what's been a recent story with our qbs does not continue. Jefferson #11 dual, Lee # 10 pro....aforementioned Jennings and Rettig....granted perriloux, Zach lee, and gunner kiel all contributed to this madness, it still happened. And happens everywhere....ask Texas am how they feel about #1 qbs today....bet both Kyle Allen and kyler Murray were gonna win the NC in their minds...blaming the manziel culture or sumlin to excuse their clear frustration at neither really being the guy. Now they got Trevor "beat Alabama a million years ago" knight and they want to cry...if both commits stay at LSU after one is named next year, because I think Harris jumps because he will emerge this year, was ranked so high for a reason....cause god knows if they can help it one of them gets it early and we don't patchwork a season of Danny etling and company.. The other is gone and never seen again. Sucks but its the truth

No shite huh. You could say the same to some extent for Walker Little, the #2 247 ranked player overall, but #36 in the composite. At the top end you hardly ever see something like that.

Trey Smith is another one. #5 247, #52 composite.
