You sound like you don't even know the Saints, you're just touting LSU prospects your excited about.
We don't need a SS when we have a solid one in Vaccaro.
You talk like Byrd is a shut down safety when he has shown nothing in his time here.
Peat was playing out of position last year and was good when he played at his natural position. Given time I'm sure he'll learn to play guard or stay at tackle. But you're right, lets write him off for this kid.
We should just eliminate any "misses" by drafting an LSU player every round, amirite?

First of all, we absolutely need to resine Brees. Even though his arm is fringe-elite, his intangibles and character is top notch. With all of the corruption and racial tension going on in the city right now, we really need to continue to force his nice guy persona as face of team. I'm ok with 7-9 until he decides when we will stop giving him $20M per year if he continues to combat the negativity in the city.
Second of all, we really will not need pass rush with the re signature of roman Harper. He gets so many sacks for a saftey. His combination of undersized linebacker and too slow to be a DB skill set works perfectly for our scheme.
I think we really need to stack up at WR. Clearly the new guy from Ohio state is going to be a bust as we all can see already. And cooks is basically like a flex RB/WR in fantasy so we just need a true WR that can stretch the field vertically on the back end. But not one who stretches it too much. It's more fun to stack stats through Sean P's scheminess than it is to just have top end talent that overmatches the opponent.
Can't fix stupid

. I do wonder what the deal is with Saints avoiding drafting LSU players.
It's you. They hate you.

Byrd sucks.....
After this year....good riddance.
Roman Harper is stop gap.
Obviously a safety or corner will be drafted no later than 4th round.

I'm just going to go on record as saying if the Saints somehow have the opportunity to draft Leonard Fournette I fully support it.

He'll probably go well before we have a shot at him but that won't stop the trolls from saying Sean hates LSU players. "Why didnt we trade our entire draft to move up for him derp derp de de derp"

Depends on how we do this season obviously. One theory I have is that the organization purposefully avoids drafting LSU players, and signs FA plays expressly to eliminate the possibility of drafting LSU players in the future (eg: Unger/Pocic & Harper/Adams). If they looked into where a kid went to college, maybe they would target some worthwhile players and the franchise wouldn't serve as the stagnant buoy constantly being pooped on by the the majority of the rest of the NFC.
Really, I'm just confused as to the reasoning behind ignoring the other team you share the same newspaper with. LSU has a bigger fanbase than the Saints and great local talent. Would do wonders to boost morale of the city and South Louisiana as a whole.

Still can't figure out if you're a moron or a troll.

Take off your purple and yellow tinted glasses. Do you really think that a professional organization is purposefully just ignoring a certain school? That's the most idiotic thing I've ever heard. There are millions of reasons that the front office goes after who they are, and it's not out of spite for LSU fans or the college itself.

All teams could use the GOAT, Deshaun Watson.

This may be the dumbest thing posted on any TigerDroppings board. Congrats
So, according to this brilliant theory, the Saints traded Jimmy Graham for Unger, who's contract expires this season, to avoid drafting Pocic, who played Guard the majority of the time in 2014.

Harper/Adams
We signed Harper to a 1 year contract to avoid drafting Adams the following year when he won't be on the roster?
How are you not banned yet?
