Well frick. I better get a lot better at quick drawing in a triple retention holster ( which im already pretty good at)

let's rephrase the question.

You AND YOUR PARTNER have a suspect prone on the ground. each of you have weapons drawn and trained on the suspect. You each are restraining one arm, neither hand is in a pocket. He has a gun on his person but it is 100% in his pocket.

When do you get to fire? As soon as he twitches? Sorry, I support LEO, but that was not a good shoot in BR.

False.

Aqib Talib and Plaxico Burress are two high profile names that say a gun can be fired by simply touching the trigger while its in a waistband/pocket.

You know how you don't get shot? You don't resist a simple arrest.

You know how you don't put the police officers in a situation where they have to think you are going for a weapon? you don't resist a simple arrest.

You know how I've gone 31 years without getting shot by police? I'm not a fricking moron when confronted by police officers.

It's pretty easy not to get shot by police.

Not as soon as he twitches.

But as soon as you feel that he is going for the gun.

Talking about it, it's really not that difficult to grasp. Now in the field in that moment, obviously that shite is tough.
