I asked to see the bottle and it was bottled 3/04. I went Maveny on him.

July 4 weekend, there was a beer tasting on Sunday at my local HEB. They had as one of the brews the Prairie Phas-something DIPA that I've seen several on here post about being really good.

I asked the guy pouring about bottle dating on the beer, bc I was hesitant to buy a 4 pack a couple weeks ago since I couldn't find a date.

His reply was that it doesn't really matter much, because IPAs are meant to age well.

He then told me the Prairie DIPA tastes exactly like Heady Topper, which I've never had Heady and couldn't believe him since he just before told me about IPAs aging.

I had an interview with distributor in Houston awhile back. I failed to get the job but I won't mention their beers or their name.

They had mentioned that they were relieved to start carrying craft beers because they aren't as strict on the dates. I was wondering what kind of backwards logic they had.

A few of their lines are real turds around Houston are fantastic fresh but you'll never get them fresh in Houston. Very disappointing.
