participation trophies? No. Pro soccer pay in European leagues are on par with NFL salaries

Come on man... Of course. What do you base him having a better chance over there than in the NFL here on? And I was mainly responding to your bs logic:

quote:

soccer is a sport where along with good athleticism, being a skillful heady player with a great motor and work ethic really is a benefit

Find me a sport where being a "skillful heady player with a great motor and work ethic" isn't a benefit. That is a complete bs cop out plain and simple.
I said your line of thinking is what parents use these days to put their kids in soccer instead of football: he won't be good enough to contribute in high school so let's put him in a lunch pail/high motor (white) sport so he can participate.

Regarding the Quinn drop at the end of the 2014 Bama game, LSU gets the ball back inside the 10 yd line and couldn't win. I believe the Trent Domingue out-of-bounds kickoff was the final nail in that coffin.

by the number and percentage of white WR's and DB's in the NFL compared to the number of white professional soccer players in the highest level pro leagues.

it's a benefit in all sports but much more required in soccer than in football.

well if they have white kids of some what in the range of average size they may be wiser to encourage baseball or soccer for their kids especially if the kid displays good speed and athletic ability (relative to other white kids) and where a pro team sport might be an aspiration.

so he can participate.

well that also might be a factor for a lot of parents, along with safety issues.
