Those seats were breaking and uncomfortable before they had ushers checking tickets about 5 years ago. I can't imagine how shitty they are now. It'd be cool to have one if you have a sports room though.

The other $10 million is coming from university raised auxiliary funds. T-Joe had to save Farmers arse again by robbing Peter to pay Paul.

Since everything else about it has been discussed here, lol, and notwithstanding any action/inaction/frick-ups, etc, from our AD......for anyone who hasn't seen them here are the renderings for the new Tigue:
And the interior of the club level

It's gonna be awesome for our program. But it doesn't change the fact that Scott Farmer should lose his job over this fricking disaster.

Good to see some action.

During Love's interview, Farmar said he has not discussed conference realignment in weeks, despite the BIG 12 news last week. That is terrible.

He is a high school level AD.

Townsquare Media will not give up ULL sports rights to Delta Media. Ain't gonna happen.

are the dimensions of the field changing any? the rest looks gorgeous. very deserving for ULL baseball.

Thanks. Everything I've heard is that nothing on the field will be changed....this is strictly to upgrade the stadium and improve the game time experience for the fans. And that is all due to Robe: the new clubhouse for the players and coaches are not being done at this time so that the fans can get a great stadium. Just another bit of evidence of what kind of upstanding guy that he is.

ULL is not going to the big 12. I don't know why people even think that is a possibility. The schools athletic footprint is crap. Outside of baseball and softball, they have nothing to offer.

I don't think people are delusional enough to think ULL would be a Big 12 candidate. But conference expansion sets off dominoes. So there are conferences they could be lobbying to get into that may be losing someone to the Big 12.

Question is where do they fit? Would think that Tulane would be opposed to them getting into the AAC and would clout the voting. Would also think Tech, Rice, and USM would be opposed to them getting into CUSA with the triangulation cutting into all 3 recruiting grounds. Is the best bet to hope a combination of Tech/Rice/USM get into AAC that would allow the Cajuns to get into CUSA?

There's always a trickle down effect . Proactive athletic directors make either public or behind the scene pushes to make things happen, but unfortunately Farmer is too comfortable

Who's saying UL is going to the B12? They have to opportunity though to move up into the C-USA or American if one of those schools are taken. Problem is the AD and President is content with staying in the Sun Belt which is a shame when school like MTSU, North Texas, and FAU are long gone.
