Alton Sterling did not get what he deserved. He deserved to be tackled and subdued, however. It really looks bad on those officers that they (or one of them) used such excessive force.

Failure to comply with a weapon on your person while resisting and moving your hand toward said weapon doesn't justify the cop's shooting? Sorry but these officers deal with shite heads everyday and a split second decision could mean they do not go home to their family everyday on the job.

Most of us will never know what that is like so we should respect them enough to comply to their requests. If they do something unlawful while you're complying then you have a case otherwise they are completely justified in dealing with you according to protocol while you are unlawfully resisting.

New poster slogan, "Comply and stay alive"

Would really love for one of our political leaders in DC to come forth and commend the police and their service and speak to the public about complying with their request to make things easier on the police instead of putting the cops in these unnecessary split second decisions.
