You also get what you pay for with lower end cleats. Less comfortable and blisters.

I'll disagree. It's been the opposite with me. I've never had more blisters than with $80+ cleats.

Hell, the most comfortable pair I ever had were some $20 FILAs. I got them because I was at a tournament and my old pair literally fell apart mid game. Needed a short term fix to finish the last 1 or 2 games, but I wore those cleats for probably another year and a half.

I rarely play anymore but I still need cleats to referee and they need to be mostly black. I'm not going to order a pair online without trying them on first.

i just wear the copa's hendo posted on page 1. I try not to get caught up all this high end cleat nonsense.

they hurt when i first bought them like any cleat probably would. but once i got them worked in they have been fine, and durable.

Buying them online is pretty much the norm now as soccer stores are becoming less and less and places like Dicks for the most part carry the lower end model of a cleat not the top of the line ones.

Once you find a brand you know and how they fit buying online is no issue.
