Had it today fro lunch. They were promoting $.50 oysters( I know it isn't the right time for oysters according to the food snobs) but they were very good and big. Had never been there before. Place was pretty good. Thoughts from the board on this place?

Pretty good food but a little pricey

I've eaten there two or three times, had a good experience each time...good food, good service.

Price is pretty average as seafood goes, and you get a lot of food for the price.

I thought it was pretty average, decent food for an average price but nothing to write home about. And nothing on the menu that you can't get of comparable quality at a bunch of other places.

I have liked it but the wait has always been insane so have only made it twice.
A friend of mine ordered the $ .50 oysters and was told they were all out but would have more right when the special was over. He was told he could order chargrilled, though. We just looked at the waiter and asked what they are using to make the chargrilled oysters? Pre-cooked? He didn't have a good answer.
I like their big portions, though, and the seafood nachos are delicious.

Ate there a few weeks ago when I was in BR - enjoyed it very much.

If boxed cajun food were sold in a restaurant, it would taste like Roux 61.
Not bad, just not good.
