Understand the sarcasm. Went through a string of bad luck with a big move. Two of the incidents were completely due to my own stupidity. The breaks would've happened to any ceramic, in the same circumstances.

The overall point is that they were willing to just send a free, totally new unit due to a tiny hairline crack. One of the units they replaced is still being used by my dad and has no functional problems at all.
