Yet the father is responsible for the child for 216 months (at minimum) and has no say in the matter. Not to mention the hundreds of thousands of dollars he is on the hook for over the child's life.

But yeah, the woman carrying the child for those menial 9 months is such a hardship when looking at the bigger picture.
