What are the chances Zack Von Rosenberg gets any playing time this season?

He'll probably only play in garbage time of a non conference game this season.

Considering we rarely give our backup QBs any PT even during blowouts, and if we do it's gonna be a running play, he'll have 0 impact. I'd be surprised if he even saw the field at all.

No. Even the true backups only get experience handing the ball off, if at all, late in games.

I could see him contributing on special teams.

Zack was a hell of an athlete in high school. Will that translate over to him putting on pads and playing at TE? I doubt it with the talent we have already at that position.
