LSU Commit Matt Schroer (2017, Arizona) recently helped his summer team win the 17U Perfect Game World Series:

2017 right-hander Boyd Vander Kooi worked five, three-hit, shutout innings with six strikeouts and two walks to pick up the win; 2017 righty Matt Schroer (Louisiana State) needed only 15 pitches in a 1-2-3 sixth inning to finish things off.

I put this info in the post specifically about the Area Code games, but I'll add it in it's own post as well to make sure people see it:
That Yankee scout team played the Orleans Firebirds of the Cape Cod league yesterday, but I'm having trouble tracking down any info. They play a team from a different Collegiate Summer League today. It's a good way for the players to get seen by scouts against good competition. It's a double edged sword. If they show out, the better their draft prospects are which means it will be harder to get them on campus. But the experience against higher level competition can help them contribute quicker if they do get to campus.

More teams have been announced. Daniel Cabrera (OF/LHP, 2017, Parkview Baptist) will be playing for the Yankees team. Also on that team are LSU commits Nick Storz, Trent Vietmier, and John Kodros. Usually these teams are bound by geography. I don't think it's a coincidence that the Yankees team has gone out of their zone to load up on LSU commits.
This is the first listing I've seen for Cabrera being from Parkview, so I guess we know now where he's transferring to.
