People talking about how the times changed. . .

Jones and Hodson never had 6'5 300 lb DE's that run 4.6 40's chasing them down.

In the 80's, having a guy run a 4.5 was considered rare track speed on the football field. Now, that is the speed of OLB's.

Bert Jones would soil himself against today's competition.

Exactly. Also Hodson played in late 1980's.

Dont know about that but i do know that Jruss played qb AT LSU better than jones. The only qb with an argument is Hodson.

He was the MVP of the freakin' NFL and was 6'3" 210 without modern weight training. This is ridiculous!

The offensive linemen are bigger and faster today as well. As for who is better I don't think a fair comparison can be made because they played in different eras.
