He's also much better on D than you would expect from a guy his age. To be honest, he looks more like a SF than a C to me.
Yup. Plays almost exclusively from perimeter at this stage (probably due to weight). Now as he adds weight he could move closer to the basket while retaining perimeter skills, which would be scary and why he is a top prospect. Other side of that is he could end up being averse to banging inside his whole career and never really be more than a decent passing jump-shooter.
Personally, with Dunn looking to be off the board by 6, I'm leaning towards Bender as my #2 choice. His upside is tremendous and he already possesses a skill that the team is in dire need of (passing). Shooting is much easier to find than a 7'1" guy with passing ability, and with both SG prospects having serious questions about their ceiling, I think you swing for the fences here.

Yeah. If Dunn is gone, that's the guy I'd go with
To me, he's more of a glue guy type than a scorer.
He looks to be able to pass, create some, shoot, play smart ball, and seems to have the feet to defend on the perimeter, while also having some shot blocking ability. For a 7 footer, that's a hell of a combo.
