The argument against women in combat shouldn't be their physical weakness, it should be that males and females of that age don't mix well and it causes discipline and morale issues.
Look at the non combat units. Those units suck balls and are constantly disciplining soldiers and Marines for sleeping with their peers and subordinates. Women just don't have a place in the military. They are an inefficient source of labor and their presence causes more trouble than it's worth.

Maybe in the Carolinas. But I routinely saw guys that had criminal trouble enroll. Many times as part of a deal.
I never said these guys didn't have a High School Diploma. I just said when shite got hairy they decided they'd rather be part of the few...the proud...the brave...rather than the incarcerated.
And let's get this straight. I have more than a few friends that went through the military academies. I have nothing but respect for them. But to pretend any and every dude that signed up for service is somehow a good dude?
See the most celebrated and loathed member of the US Military in the last 50 years. Chris Kyle.

^this as well. Too much drama, pregnancies and honestly lack of function in a unit. Even in non combat units most females get Fap'd out to worthless jobs.
Sad part is women wanted equality and they got it. Now it's the military's job to find these women to enlist. The 3 years I was a recruiter I enlisted 2 females. 1 quit in the DEP and the other got kicked out of bootcamp for medical reasons. Now they want combat MOS' lord I feel sorry for recruiters and NCO's dealing with this.

No it's across the board. The whole thing of hey join the military or go to jail really never existed it's a MYTH.
Probation is a no go for enlistment and you can't even talk to a recruiter until 90 days after probation is completed.
Sure I enlisted ppl with minor in possession of alcohol and tickets but drugs is a no go and anything above a misdemeanor isn't happening.

If you can't do 5 pull ups, you have no business being in any combat role regardless of gener.

Nope. I ran mine yesterday in 14:23, but I am 6'0" 200lb. New best for me since I was a kid.

My point.

You just said the opposite. I personally saw people on probation for misdemeanors trade their charges to enroll. I can produce docket numbers.
ETA: You know that judges put people on probation for the minor charges you listed right?

Are you fricking stupid. I said the whole either go to bootcamp or go to jail doesn't exist. I did say if you completed your probation you could try to enlist depending on the crime.

From what I have heard from a military buddy is the new special ops physical standards are insanely hard.

So your point is what? That known criminals were welcomed with open arms to the military? We know.
Here is how it worked. If you enlist, we will cut your probation short. Am I right or am I right?

How old are you? Because if you're younger than say 45 then you are completely full of shite. I had a speeding ticket to pay the second I left PI. You think the judge gave a damn that I was military? My recruiter said it point blank that if I got in trouble from DEP to going out to PI that I would be kicked out of the program. And that any judge who says they reduce or throw out your sentence to join the military is committing a crime.

So ppl with speeding tickets are criminals? Sure I guess the broke the law.
No probation is cut short for military service. There's these things called court records, you might have heard of them?!? Well if any court record has anything saying military service or plea for military service, that individual is PERMANENTLY DISQUALIFIED FROM EVERY BRANCH OF SERVICE.
Now come up with your next question....

How can you say that? I am younger than 45 and older than 40. I saw many people have their probation cut short on the condition they enter the service. I was there. I don't care what your recruiting guidelines were. I saw it happen.

Do you understand that none of this contradicts what I said?

Source?
Keep in mind I am talking about 20 years ago. But I'd love to see even a present day source.

Yeah because the military really needed bodies that bad during this period of time. Just by math that would mean you were around 18 in 1994. Please tell me about all the wars going on in that time period where ppl needed to be enlisted that bad.

Hey buddy. Try reading back where I discussed that exact point. There wasn't a draft on. But keep it up.

I was a recruiter you fricking idiot. There are also these ppl that were in charge of me called Career Recruiters that enlisted ppl in that time frame and told me it's completely false.
Let me guess you'd like more sources?
