Two questions:

1. Everyone seems to think Cersei is going to burn everything down. We've seen Bran's vision and Cersei and Qyburn discussed rumors, but is there any other evidence of this?
2. Why do so many people think Jaime may kill all the Freys? That absolutely sounds like wishful thinking. I don't see there being any possibility of this based on what we currently know.

1. Too many signs point to cersei being insane enough to do it and she has the knowledge of the wildfire

2. Wishful thinking. We want jamie to be a good guy damn it

1. Will probably happen because it's the most obvious, and they've been aiming at obvious lately.

2. Will probably happen because people seem to want it to happen and it seems like that's all they've been doing lately.

Like the last few episodes were written by a focus group. "Tell us what you'd like to see" "well i wanna see Ramsay get chewed up by his dogs and I wanna see the hound come back and hatchet people and dragons and tits and I like those terminator movies, can y'all make a terminator happen?"

It's a combination of a lot of things, but I don't think there's been any solid evidence. Just like you said, the combination of Bran and Dany's visions, the rumors, and Cersei's ace-in-the-hole of trial by combat no longer being an option. Dany's vision of her being in the burnt-out throne room kind of hints that Kings Landing might be torched before she even arrives. Without the trial by combat, she really doesn't seem to have any options left short of bringing an army into the city, and I don't think Tommen and Kevan will allow that.
