This thread has been great. It's really got me wanting to go on a Zelda binge. I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I have some 3DS questions. I have an old Wii and have TP on it, but I have a baby on the way and we've pretty much put the Wii in storage to make room. I keep seeing that you guys play various Zelda games on the 3Ds. This seems perfect to just be able to pick up and play anywhere. I know I could probably just Google a lot of these questions, but I've enjoyed the thread and want to see it keep going.

Is the 3Ds essentially a modern version of the Gameboy? Meaning, my wife can be watching TV next to me and I can play sitting on the couch with it in my lap?
How many Zelda games are available? I saw people mention Oot and MM. It also looks like another 2d one was made specifically for it.
Do the games come in cartridges or discs? Or do you download them on the device?
Are other classic N64 games available (Mario 64, DK64, etc)

I'll leave it at just those questions for now.
