Cannizaro is a superstar coach. Sitting behind a lame coach like CPM is not going to last.

LOL at all you people saying he would stay here as an assistant for 2 more years. Your purple and gold glasses need their lens wiped. We can get only hope to get him when CPM finally leaves.

He seems to be a very good hitting coach, but has he every been a HC before?

You act like AC has been the backbone of our program for years. He's been here for only 2 years. Mainieri gave him his first coaching job. He was not some established coach already.

You are right. Why would he want to be under Maneri while he can go do his own thing.

What an idiotic statement! Cannizaro sitting behind a lame coach like Manieri. That lame coach has won a National Championship with players inherited from the Smoke Laval era, been to 4 CWS, won 5 SEC Tournament Titles and 3 SEC Championship Games in a far more competitive environment than 20 years ago. Where did you coach or play ball or do you just sit in front of your TV or from your local sports bar thinking you are some kind of genius?
