Let me guess. No one offered you six figs, corner office, car allowance, and a credit card? You starting to realize how the world really works?

Most of the OT has a misconception about my desired salary.

At maximum, I want 65k to 70k

At minimum, I am willing to settle for 50k in a starting position.

Also, the OT misunderstands where I stand. I am absolutely frustrated that being an engineer is so easy at SUBR when every other college has higher standards. You would think employers would catch on to this and act accordingly.

If other SUBR grads are getting the salary I ask for, why is it a big deal?

I think he is the real deal, bc if he is a troll he went above and beyond as far as making it seem legit. About a week ago he posted a thread at 3am asking advice for his LinkedIn page, and posted a link to his

So you're confused why employers aren't hiring graduates from a school with a less than 10% graduation rate? Other schools are challenging therefore more prestigious; therefore leading their graduates to jobs.

I understand you have standards, i really do man but with zero income from your degree now I wouldn't really have a minimum at all if it gets you experience in your field

A second degree didn't work out for you, so you are thinking another degree is the answer? You just need to take an entry level job, and start working like everyone else. Obama needs the tax revenue.

You should shoot for $38k so you can complain about taxes.

Out of curiosity, why do you have a theoretical maximum? If someone comes at you offering $110k, your counter is gonna be $70k?
