I honestly don't think it's that bad. Certainly better than last year. I do like the new theme Fox has for the US Open.

Fox golf is getting better
But nothing about their coverage makes this seem like a prestigious, storied golf tournament. It's like a Sunday afternoon baseball game.
I can't put my finger on it, but Fox just isn't good at giving reverence to these big events. In their defense I think the scheduling has messed some of that up, so we'll see how they finish.
