Would you want to know when and how you'll die?

Say you won't be able to prevent it or change how you die. Would you want to know the exact time, date and how you'll die?

Hell fricking no!!!!

No, it would drive me insane IMO.

No way. The concept of death already scares the shite out of me.

When, yeah. How, no. I'm really not holding anything back in my regular lifestyle but if I knew i was going to die in 2 weeks I definitely wouldn't be showing up to work or contributing money to my retirement.

If it's after I'm 70 then yes. Before 70 hell no

...eh, what the hell. Why not.

No.
Take the weekend, for example.
Saturday is awesome because you have 2 full days to do what you want work wise. Your stress is at its lowest, you have total control over planning what you do, when, and where.
The idea of Sunday, when you think ahead to it on Saturday, is great because it's more of the same.
However, when you wake up on Sunday, much of your day is clouded by the fact that you know it's coming to an end. That things you didn't do Saturday you HAVE to do today, and the pending doom on Monday weighs heavy on you.
Knowing when you die is like knowing you have to go to work on Monday. A life of not knowing is more like Saturday where there's way less pressures and stress.

Maybe in your fricked up life.

Sure. It would make it very easy to plan my retirement.

That's pretty good, actually.
I've had jobs in the past where I dreaded Mondays so I get your illustration.

I don't hate my job, but I work very hard at my job, so to say I don't cherish my weekend days compared to Monday wouldn't be honest.

Can you imagine, knowing at 48 you die in a car wreck leaving work.
You know how hard it would be getting in your car that day knowing you couldn't change it?

absolutely.
I would enjoy my last days.
I would have my family around me at the end.
seems ideal to me.

Yes. I would have said no before seeing the movie Big Fish.
He found out when he would die and then basically viewed it as being invincible until that moment. Thats the way I would look at. Think about this: currently every day is a day you might die. You wouldnt trade that for know thousands of days you couldnt die, and one day you definitely would?
