Just looking ahead, I know that's frowned upon by some but man.

LINK

Patrick Surtain Jr
Kelvin Joseph
Corione Harris
Anthony Cook
Nadab Joseph

Probably top 3 for Tyreke Johnson at the moment

Article on Anthony Cook, he will be at the July camp

quote:

The No. 6 prospect from the Lone Star State in next year’s recruiting cycle wants to prove to the Tigers’ coaches they were wise to offer him, and that has served as a chip on his shoulder entering the summer.

“LSU is ‘DBU,’” said Cook. “It is ‘DBU,’ and they play aggressive, and I feel like I would fit in perfect.”

When have we not had a special DB class? It seems like every year we have four studs, and at least one is All-American quality.

Jalen Green is a beast and extremely high on the board right now. Expect him to visit next month.

Dang, another blue chip Corner. Are they just gonna take 1 CB in the 2017 class?

That was my first thought. We always strike gold with our DB's.

I think Kirklin ends up at CB. I don't know what the #'s are like but have to think we go after another.

Kary Vincent seems to be trending our way at the moment. Good player. I'd let that be it though due to the stellar class next year. Tre Swilling of course if he and his bro want in....

Labruzza, Amik Robertson, Swilling, Vincent...there's several who could end up here.

This is how I see the 2017 DB class:

CB-Kary Vincent Jr.
NB-Jontre Kirklin
S-Grant Delpit
S-Todd Harris

small class ready for a big 2018 haul

This is how I think it shakes out too. Sets us up to take a large DB group next year.

Couple other names that need to be mentioned:

BJ Foster (elite safety and RB, just a freak)
Jalen Preston (could be a WR)
Jamarceon Jackson (super underrated safety from LA)
Tyson Campbell (long, athletic CB that goes to school with Pat Surtain Jr)

The 2017 class will be small but elite, Corey is on a different level right now when it comes to recruiting DB's

Come on man don't ruin the mood. Although I'm sure Miles stellar skills at teaching DBs the toss dive, just in case, seals the deal.

Or maybe it's the great recruiters he keeps in his stable with this staff here being his best ever. They keep bringing in top talent that even a doofus can win with.
