Pics and Video

I had one stolen last year along with a pair of my Mucks and never recovered it. Just wanted to post because this pisses me off and these douchebags need to be caught.

I need cameras myself but have no clue on what or how much they cost.

i have the Netgear Arlo 4 camera system. No monitoring fees and night vision. Motion activated and free cloud storage for up to 4 cameras video.

completely wireless and the batteries last a long arse time. Mine are going on 5 months now and are still showing full charge. 20 packs of the batteries can be bought on Amazon for like $25

I got this one from Best Buy when it was on sale. You can remote view it from your phone. I caught some thieves within a month of having it. Couldn't be happier.

the mounts are slick too. Screw them in with one screw, the base of the cameras are concave and magnetic. The mounts are convex and metal. Just touch them to each other then swivel the camera as you watch live video on your phone app to the desired spot. Also has motion detection sensitivity settings as well. that way you don't get warnings for every bird flying by or squirrels running past it. They're weatherproof cameras too.

The cables weren't bad to run at all. Everything I read said wired cameras are better than wireless. I can't say if they are or are not. I actually had the arlo 4 camera system you posted in my hand the other day. I want to add to my system for inside my house and garage. I see they are on sale right now. I may have to go pick them up.

i'm sure wired is better quality. I can tell who's in the videos mine records day and night so that's really all i need. Some may need more. IDK

There is not possible interruption of signal, but picture quality is dependent on the camera, not the connection

I'll look at both. Plus my wife will be the installer so I don't care if she has to run wire from the Demco pole or can pull it out of the cloud. I'll just have to hold the ladder.

I saw they were rated at 6 months, I believe, so wasnt sure how true that was.

I have been ordering these for several customers lately and that is the one feedback I havent heard. But as far as wireless homeowner grade, Arlo is probably the top right now

my motion sensitivity is set at medium and record times are no longer than 5 minutes. Probably why i'm getting such good battery life out of them.

My wife is an electrical engineer dickhead. It's what she likes to do. If she wants the line underground I'm the one digging the trench. Go away.

I have the Arlo base with 2 of their cameras, my motion sensitivity is turned all the way up, and my record times are set to 90 second clips. Currently I get about 3-4 months out of a set of batteries. I could probably stretch that longer if I turn down my sensitivity and record times. I've been very happy with the system for the $$ and ease of install.

I have 4 of the Arlo cameras. Very pleased. I like being able to move them around the house, depending on circumstances. My batteries average 3 months. Get your batteries on line.
