Funny, I don't see Mr. Snow on there.

Interesting, a previous Daenerys Targaryen helped in creation of the Martell family in Dorne...
Perhaps Varys knows this and is going to seek them in Dorne as allies against the Lannisters for when Dany arrives in Westeros...

Assuming the other Daenerys did not rule as a queen.

Correct. King Aenys I (son of Aegon the Conqueror) had a son Aegon, but his son never ruled as king, so down the road we get King Aegon II (son of Viserys I) during the Dance of the Dragons.

I need to reread the history of the house, forget who is who

The World of Ice and Fire has all the family trees.
I had so many people asking to borrow it at work, I grabbed a couple more copies when they went on sale on Amazon.

Hodor question, did the Baratheons come over with the Targaryens?

Yes. Aegon the Conqueror's rumored Bastard Half Brother started the house (Orys Baratheon)

I thought it was maybe the "stormborn" part
Posted on 6/14/16 at 5:19 pm to SEClint
technically, Daenerys Stormborn is the first Daenerys Targaryen to rule as Queen (at least in recorded history).

just to add on to your statement for any hodor interested, Orys Baratheon was Aegon the Conqueror's (first targaryan king) only friend and subsequently the first Hand of the King
this partly is why the Baratheon name is so important in Westeros
Also, Orys married a Durrandon female, a now extinct house, but consider them related to the Storm Kings, people who had been on Westeros 10,000 years (same time as Bran the Builder, the building of the Wall, children of the forest etc)
all of that makes anyone with Baratheon blood a big deal
