Giving someone tPA and not immediately transferring them if you're not equipped to handle complications is unreal. Wow.

Free standing ERs are a money grab in Texas, not sure why one was proposed for North BR.

Because obviously they will be 'grabbing' the money from the city at $3 million a year.

The thought being the Ambulance not wanting responsibility for the med. during the hour infusion. This ER is major hospital affiliated though. The other I work is not. tPA is not stocked at this one. We would call 911 and GTFO. CT the head of course so that step would be handled on arrival to ER.
