Such a good and well thought out response, then you go here and show your pretentiousness:
I explained in a post further down why I didn't like his character. It's not simply because he's a whiny bitch, but the lack of a true powerful villain he puts off.
Never did he seem like a force (no pun intended) to be reckoned with.
I get the "he's still learning", "he's conflicted", factors, but they could have been portrayed in a way that didn't make him seem useless.

The gripe about Kylo Ren just makes me think you're a little stupid and need things to be painted for you in black and white.

Yet you you complained of the play being too similar to the first, but wanted the villain to be the same as Vader?
My point was you could not "handle" a nuanced villain. He was a "kid" playing dress up. Trying desperately to be something he's not or wasn't raised to be. Trying to live up to a ghost he's never met.

If you're getting out of this movie that he's a "villain," I think you're reading the signs wrong. Hes portrayed as a morally confused character whose heart just isn't in it. They're setting up his actions for forthcoming movies. He's an antagonist but if this trilogy ends with Ben Solo as the villain, I'd be absolutely shocked m:
