Not sure how we would be considered a dark horse since we took 3/5 from the #1 overall and we are a national seed.
Going into the Florida series, the general consensus was that we'd salvaged a lost season, and could probably host a regional if we could get a win against the Gators (and that was iffy) and not go 1-and-done in the SEC Tourney.
We somehow emerged from that as a national seed, and one of the hottest teams in baseball.

For me, its nice to feel positive about a baseball postseason. The tyranny of high expectations is a real thing. We were stacked last year and in 2013 and those two teams would have both won a natty or at least made the final series before the bats were nerfed IMO.
Sports are really hard to enjoy if its title or bust every season, because almost no one wins the title in a given season. Its nice to watch some good baseball and get unreasonably excited when we succeed rather than feeling ho-hum about it, like "well, we're supposed to be here!".
