Why Foreman was a better fighter than Tyson. Ali was scared to fight Foreman after rumble in the jungle...
You being serious?
Tyson is 10x more famous because of who he is. The general population doesn't base their reactions simply on how good they were in their sport. This really isn't some complicated subject

Ok? Never argued against any of that. Tyson is more famous across the board, that's why he would get a bigger reaction. Pretty cut and dry

He was a great boxer, however, that was it.
If Tyson were to die tomorrow does he have the same reaction? What about
Holy crap, you are the most tone deaf fan.
Or are lying about reading. Learning knowing Ali and his fame.
Ali was probably more famous than JFK... certainly more popular than LBJ.
If Ali was killed back then it would have been like killing a president. Seriously.
Back then you had 3 stars on TV.. The president, the heavyweight champ of the world and the worlds biggest movie star.
It wasnt ESPN dude. And celebrity Kardashian.
Mike Tyson? Give me break, you really have no clue.

Foreman to me would be more famous, however, Tyson doing movies now may make him more popular especially in the under 30 crowd.

How is he more famous to you? He can be a better boxer in your opinion. But being famous is based off of the general populations knowledge of someone. And you know that Mike Tyson is more famous than Foreman. Fame doesn't have to line up with their ranking in said sport

Lying to cover his arse, he gambled on being the first outlet to really "report" this and it backfired terribly. Instead of creating an iconic historical moment by showing Ali up on he screen, he created negatively publicity as being the slapdicks that prematurely reported Ali's death. Integrity and accuracy are just small things to sacrifice to be the first to report. Idiots.
No shite. It's the Marlins! They are one of the worst organizations in sports

How is he more famous to you?

Watch his fights, and also the fights of his toughest opponents, and you will see. You will have to watch well over 50 fights to really get it but you will.

I've seen several Ali fights, I do not need to watch only his highlights.

mean he was a great boxer but what else? He was known for refusing enlistment, and converting to a Muslim....
You're a Yankees fan so I'll try to explain it in those terms- Ali was Babe Ruth if Babe Ruth had also been a significant political and moral figure instead of just a fat guy who hit for power.

Come on, breh. The NFL freaking Network has been doing live coverage about his death for the last two hours. There has never been a more famous athlete than Ali.

Nah, Ruth is to Baseball as Jordan is to Basketball, Ali transcended sports.

And he said watch all his fights. He didn't say watch just his highlights.

Ali became his most famous because he got Parkinson's, then he became beloved by all and ran with the torch. It is amazing how the narrative for athletes change over time.

Nope but I can read about how Ruth changed baseball, where can I read about how Ali revolutionized boxing?
So Ruth was like a lesser MJ then or more on the level of a Gretzky?

Holy shite dude.
It seems you've had your mind made up well before and are immune to anything else someone may point out to you. Congrats on being extremely ignorant
