My grandfather was a big fan of 8 O'Clock coffee. This post brings back some good memories.

8 O'Clock was A&P's house brand of coffee. The stores used to have a big industrial-style grinder that let you select about a dozen different grinds. I used to love the smell of fresh ground coffee in the store.

I buy it occasionally - the Columbian Peaks whole bean. I grind my own and prepare it in an AeroPress. It is my favorite grocery store coffee.
