Your realistically ideal USMNT XI v. Colombia

by realistically ideal, I mean based on who we've used in these last two friendlies, who do you think and/or want Jurgen to trot out come Friday?
I can still see the argument for not starting Pulisic, can't see one for not starting Nagbe at this point. And he is versatile enough to where if Jurgen doesn't want to break up the Bradley/Jones/Bedoya central midfield, he can easily slot in on the wing.
Ideally though, I would love him in that CAM role, shifting Bedoya out wide and Zardes to the bench.

Bedoya and Nagbe were very effective but both at the same position. Not sure if I love Bedoya up top in a 4-3-3 though but it keeping with the thread that is realistic.
I do believe as the broadcast said the 11 you saw start the 2nd half of the Bolivia game is your starting 11 for Columbia.

He would definitely be more withdrawn with Nagbe sliding in on the attack and Yedlin overlapping.

FIFY.
I think Pulisic SHOULD start, but won't. My ideal formation is a 4-1-3-2 with these players:
Backs: Fabs, Brooks, Cameron, Yedlin
Mids: Pulisic, Nagbe, Jones, Bradley (DM)
Strikers: Wood, Dempsey
Obviously, that won't be a starting lineup. I do think Bedoya needs to see a bunch of playing time, but I am incredibly impressed with Pulisic.

I tend to agree, but he will.

The lineup is going to be
Guzan
Yedlin Cameron brooks Johnson
Bradley
Bedoya Jones
Zardes Wood
Dempsey
I don't have a problem with that against Colombia. It's a little more defensive and experienced. But unless we just look like gangbusters offensively I think we need to give the Nagbe-Pulisic starting lineup a look in one of the next two games

You'd probably be better off flipping Dempsey with Wood and using him as an inverted winger -- it works with Fabian playing LB

That team gets ripped to shreds... You need some type of enforcer whether that's Becks or Jones.

James Rodriguez versus that midfield :0

I made more of a "go for it" type line up instead of JK's "bumma" line up.

Go for what? A 4-1 loss?
I thought it was a good line up for FIFA16
There is now way jones doesnt start.

Bedoya in the middle for Nagbe, and Zardes out on the right wing.
Nagbe and Pulisic continue to be complimentary super subs. Obviously, I would be totally fine with either or both starting.

Do y'all not understand the word "realistically"?
It's going to be
Guzan
Yedlin, Cameron, Brooks, Fabian
Jones, Bradley, Bedoya
Zardes, Dempsey, Wood
I get the argument of going with experience and size against Colombia. And I get the appeal of bringing in Nagbe and Pulisic on as subs for a spark.
I'd like to see
Guzan
Yedlin, Cameron, Brooks, Fabian
Jones, Bradley, Bedoya
Nagbe, Dempsey, Wood
Zardes can still be a bench spark. Nagbe plays on the right often for Portland. Pulisic still a sub who can start vs. Paraguay, maybe.

I would agree except we know Dempsey will provide nothing defensively on the left. Wood at least puts in a shift out there

You've got Pulisic starting too low on the pitch.
