quote:Last I heard was Greenberg makes something like 1.2M, while Golic was at 900K, but this was several years ago. I think we can be reasonably certain Greenberg makes more
Is it true he makes substantially more than Golic?

quote:I grew up in the '80s with Berman, Costas, and a guy who may not be well remembered today, Roy Firestone. They were the baby boomers who brought sportscasting out of the deadly serious Pat Summerall era and showed it could be fun.
I have great memories of watching baseball tonight every night with my dad in the early 90s. He was hilarious and it was me and my dads bonding hour. Great times

I think ESPN is starting to realize their ratings are not effected one bit by the personalities on air. Why pay big salaries?
And they have a pipeline of people coming from various other networks.

I liked Firestone. He was never afraid to ask the tough questions.

I miss the Sunday night nfl prime time show. It was the best. That music. Now the only time you see it is on some random arse segment they try to pass as prime time At like 12am

fricking right. Now it sucks with crappier analysts, fewer highlights, and a shitty time late at night.
