Our best chances, imo, are knocking out either South Carolina, Texas Tech, or Virginia.

So far in conference tournaments:

USCe = 0-1
Texas Tech = 1-0
Virginia = 0-0 playing today

From Baseball America 2 days ago:

We’re also sticking with Virginia as our final national seed, even though its No. 13 RPI is behind SEC candidates Mississippi (No. 6) and Louisiana State (No. 9). Ultimately, we’re more comfortable giving a national seed to the third-place team in the ACC—the No. 1 RPI conference—than the fifth-, sixth- or seventh-place team in the SEC. But if the Cavaliers (or Texas Tech) were to have a rough week and one of those SEC teams goes on a run, the possibility of the SEC landing itself a fifth national seed can’t be ruled out.

Both NC State and Virginia dropped spots in RPI along with UNC and G Tech. State, Vandy, Ole Miss, LSU all gained ground. We may actually be the #1 RPI conference at this point. And Virginia is now the 6th ACC team in terms of RPI. Point being... they're out at this minute unless the make up ground in their tournament. Regardless, the ACC gets 3 somehow. SEC has to get 4. And then there's Texas Tech. So which 4 SEC teams? It's LSU, Ole Miss, Vandy, and USCe fighting for that one spot. I don't think Vandy has a real shot. Ole Miss needs to lose to A&M and USCe going 2 and q may take them completely out if we win today.

Even if all that other stuff occurs with TT and UVA, I still think there is no way in hell the committee gives us 5 National Seeds.

I really think our only option is taking USCe's spot.
