USC is a loser of 7 straight in Hoover. History says they will fall today to A&M

Whats this world coming to when we are forced to hope that Bama and A&M win in the same day?

If we win, it won't matter who we play Saturday. It's single elimination. UF is obviously the better team, but for some damn reason, we play up to the competition. Bring it on. Bama will only have guys left throwing 84 mph... no good. Of course, we could always get State again on Saturday.

Wait, are you saying it's possible for us to get a national seed?

Like I said in this thread. I didn't think it would be so easy to pass up USCe in RPI. That's what makes it a possibility.

Is the general consensus that the SEC will get 4 national seeds? If so, you have to think Florida and A&M are in really good shape with LSU, Vandy, Ole Miss, USC and MSU all fighting for the final 2 spots. A win by LSU coupled with a loss by Ole Miss might clinch a national seed for the Tigers. LSU would have a better overall SOS than every SEC contender but Florida. They would also have a better non-conf SOS than every contender except Florida and Ole Miss. If the baseball selection committee is anything like the basketball committee, then they love to reward teams who play tough schedules. Compared to the rest of the SEC, LSU is one of those teams.

Miss State won the SEC. They are more of a lock than Florida.

Bruh,
MSU, UF, A&M all have their spot locked up. Last one is btwn us, OM, and USC. SEC WILL get 4 national seeds at minimum.

Off topic, but didn't the SEC bracket have the survivor of the loser's bracket switch sides in prior years?

Is CSF still in discussions to host a Regional with an RPI in the 50s?

I think they've dropped out.
