Anyone familiar with Toledo Bend in July - what's biting, what baits to use? Taking the family there for several days in a couple months....I'm not familiar with fishing there at all.

Bream on worms or crickets. It'll be a hot mofo, may catch a few bass at daylight on a top water bite. Look for schoolies mid morning busting the top.

Hire a crappie guide.

Night fish for bass worms if full moon or around lights, buzz baits if dark.
Days top water early and late around deep grass or worm and jig in 15 to 20 feet with structure. Humps and points

Did anyone say it would be FRICKING HOT once the sun came up? A wise old indian once said hunt for big bucks at night by way of a torch, same advise for fishing TB during the summer...
