True story: Hasselhoff's post-Baywatch career may have taken an entirely different course if his primetime NBC music special had aired as planned-on the night of September 11, 2001.

David Hasselhoff‘s financial crisis continues.
The former “Baywatch” star can no longer afford the $21,000-per-month alimony payments to ex-wife Pamela Bach as he claims less than $4,000 to his name, according to TMZ. Hasselhoff, 63, who filed court documents last month to cut off the payments, has shelled out $2.3 million to his former spouse since their divorce in 2006.

Bach, 52, receives $252,000 per year from Hasselhoff, but the singer/actor only grosses $112,000 a month. Though Hasselhoff spends $66,000 of it, with living expenses, taxes and Bach’s payments, he has minimal funds to save. And while a court hearing has been set for the end of May, Hasselhoff isn’t sure if his current endeavors will be enough to salvage the payments.

I just can't imagine hating someone you married so much that you don't mind breaking them like that.

That whore took him to the cleaners but he couldn't keep his monthly living expenses under 66 grand?

I think 10 years of alimony payments is enough.

First of all it makes no sense to me that courts are able to justify this much money for child support and alimony payments. It makes no sense to me. No one needs that much money to live a reasonable life and raise a child. It's absurd.
Judges are even worse about basing professional athletes' child support payments off a salary that they will only be able to make for a few years. It's like they want to punish the fathers with bankruptcy and make sure they are completely drained and can't make the payments for the whole 18 years.

Second of all. Only $112k per month. Yeah. I imagine there are business expenses that go along with promoting his brand. I would be curious to see where all the money is going. A person should be able to live on only over $1.3 million gross a year.

This is the type of story that could inspire a Tool song touting the destruction of California in a giant earthquake.

No wonder he's been moonlighting as a dodgeball coach.

Way to make it sound like he's paying twice what he makes when in reality he's paying her 1/6 of what he makes.
Fixed it:

That said, alimony is a fricking stupid concept.
