I think Tom Petty is much better than Bruce.

If Jeff Lynne, Bob Dylan, George Harrison and Roy Orbison will play with you in a supergroup, you're pretty fricking legit.

I'll concede that point in that Springsteen is overtly political when he speaks to the audience in concerts and in interviews. Never get that impression with Tom.

It's hit or miss for me. I don't think anyone could have sung Here Comes My Girl like Tom and made it genuine though.

Love his music. No matter the song I feel like it was written in the last year. So many great songs. Just a great songwriter and musician.
