Aside from the old man and the black guy, the only thing keeping these characters alive is the poor writing.
-The blonde chick is exactly what BHP described.
-The husband character seems like he could be good if he was harder (more like the old man), but with him being written as constantly clueless it just doesn't work.
-The daughter is cute and all, but she could give Season 2 -"Coral" a run for his money in the "All You Do Is frick Things Up" department.
-The old man's daughter is forgettable. I think all she's done the past few episodes is sit around and heal.
-The black guy was intriguing at the beginning but lost his luster for me when he tried to flee on the raft. Smart guy like that trying to PADDLE away from a boat with armed people on it?
-Speaking of him, the gay couple had no organics to it, it felt forced and blatant. Like it was nothing more than "Hey! We haven't had two gay guys in the ZA yet, so let's grab the next two male actors and make them gay!"
-The drug-head son is annoying. They are trying to make him almost like a young Rick, but something about the character just isn't working.
-The other son... WTF are they doing with him this last episode? Makes no damned sense.
And that pretty much sums up my thoughts on the main characters.

They are at the equivalent of Herschel's farm now in Mexico. And guess what? (Minor spoiler ahead if you have not watched the recent episode.) The owner has a bunch of zombies locked up that she is feeding and protecting.
Lazy frickers couldn't even come up with a new story.

I liked the last episode. Like Hershel's farm, but in Mexico. Crazy old lady killed the survivors because they wanted to kill her zombies.
Interesting to see where it goes.
Liking the characters more. You aren't supposed to love them. This group we follow aren't the "good guys"
