Its modern day ceramic, I mean there are pots that have been dug up from underground that are still around from literally 2500 years ago. Probably longer. I routinely find Turpentine collecting pots from the early 1900s while I'm hunting in the woods and they look brand new.

You may have to replace the springs and a metal part here and there every 5 years or so, but I've had mine 2 years and its still like new.

I've had mine for 3+ years

Friend of mine has one that is 22+ and it's great! He's replaced the gasket a few times and that's about it.
