Lawyers in Monroe area?

I need a very good mean arse lawyer from the Monroe area. This is not for a divorce its for a business matter. Any recommendations?

If it a one on one business matter - David Thomas is your man.
If it is a real business deal, I would look at George Snellings or Mark Neal.
Steve Katz practices in Bastrop and is good - so is he partner Alex Rankin.

I talked to a friend that is a lawyer, he gave me some advice. He is going to let me know if I need to hire another lawyer after I send him the paper work. If I do need one I will give him a call.

If it's a big local business, Get someone from out of town. The nepotism amoung Monroe big wigs is astounding.

In my college days, a bunch of guys in my fraternity had a huge brawl at one of Monroe's most infamous bars with some guys that had graduated from a local high school. They started it but sadly, several of them ended up taking home some serious arse beatings. Their recourse was to sue most of us. All I remember mostly from that night and the aftermath besides spending a few hours in the pokey for Simple Battery was Johnny Dollar was one of their lawyers and he was ruthless. Hire him yesterday.
