If GS loses to the Cavs, people are going to take a huge steaming shite on Curry's unanimous MVP award. They will freak out and say Lebron should have been MVP the last two years and Curry is just a stats machine. They will say look how Lebron was better in back to back playoffs when it really mattered etc etc

Yeah, they will. I think someone like Green will still help defer some of the Curry hate, but it is coming if/when they get beat.

If it happens as a result of Lebron playing well and Curry playing poorly, i mean i guess you could argue it's irrelevant since it's a regular season award, obviously.

But I'd hope it opens eyes to the fact that even though it's called the MVP, it's really just given to the player who had the best regular season.
